Why “33”?
The number 33 appears throughout Scripture and is often connected to God’s divine plan and perfect timing. In Genesis 1, God’s name (Elohim) is mentioned 33 times. The 33rd time Noah’s name appears in the Bible is when God makes His covenant with him after the flood — a promise of salvation and new life.
Most importantly, Jesus Christ completed His earthly ministry at age 33. His death and resurrection at that age fulfilled God’s promise of salvation for the world. For us, “33” is a reminder that all of Scripture points to Christ and His redeeming work.
At Believe 33, the number is a reminder of our awesome God and how He weaves even the smallest details into His perfect plan. For us, the number is a symbol of our Fathers divine plans, hopeful promises, his purpose, and a reminder of how amazing the Gospel is in which we want every game to reflect. At the end of the day, 33 is simply a fun number with interesting biblical references — but it’s not what saves. Our mission will always point back to what truly matters: Jesus Christ, the One who does. — Jesus, who lived, died, and rose again to give us life.
